We are entering a new phase of growth and are now looking for an experienced Microsoft Azure Sales Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis, working from anywhere in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for you to leave your mark on our organisation and help us build and grow our Microsoft partner ecosystem.
The opportunity:
In this role, you will work with us to maximise new opportunities and revenue for our partners by being the go-to team for Dicker Data & Microsoft. We'll handle everything from recruiting and developing partners to boosting sales and providing support.
You will also support both existing partners to drive growth revenue as well as recruit, manage and develop a set of high-potential partners to drive new business and commitment to the Azure platform.
Core duties:
- Develop new or existing partners and strengthen relationships to drive commitment to Azure consumption and growth
- Manage territory and all activities associated with partner recruitment, opportunity identification, business development, pipeline management, portfolio planning and forecasting.
- Set activity targets, including revenue and competency, and maintain relationships with sales, marketing and senior business contacts.
- Achieve assigned revenue and Usage/Consumption Azure targets across the region and drive the team and individual targets.
- Conduct regular pipeline management, portfolio planning, sales coaching, forecasting and Business reviews with strategic and relevant.
- Organise business planning and execution (including marketing, sales skills, development, product, services and customer territory planning) to achieve set objectives.
- Increase partners' Microsoft sales & delivery workforce through sales, presales & technical certifications.
You'll be great in this role because:
To excel in this dynamic role, you will be a creative thinker with a relevant bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience in a high-tech territory or channel sales environment. A proven track record of driving customer and partner adoption of technology is a must.
Additionally, a minimum of five years of experience in selling Microsoft solutions is required. We are on the lookout for a proactive and outgoing individual who possesses a genuine passion for attracting new customers and partners to develop a thriving Microsoft practice. Your strong drive, focus on execution, sense of urgency, resilience, and willingness to go the extra mile will set you apart.
Furthermore, your ability to collaborate effectively as a team player, coupled with exceptional communication skills, will enable you to build robust relationships with diverse stakeholders.
